Marching on to the light,
There was a great warrior,
She knows no fear; she knows no weakness,
'Till came a time,
A cancer took her and wiped all she knew,
Though not a memory abides in her,
Her heart floods with love towards those around her,
Unaware of who they are,
She knows the look of love the eyes of those surrounding her.

She must have had no heart to face you.
You would weep,
They hindered secrets,
To keep you from a broken heart.
For now the time is here to face the truth,
All is shattered; all is loss
But to know her state of grace; her strength,
A memory of her is all that is needed,
For the will to strive on,
And live,
With yet another knowledge-
That she is still within you.

This post is another dedication... Sorry if you don't read it but note that we may never feel what you feel, but we know the severity of it. If that even is a word. We love you and her a LOT. And we'll DEFINITELY standby you no matter what. So take some time, take a breather- whatever you need. We'll even be there to get it for you. I know you're probably not alright right now. But you will be because you know she's in a better place. At that moment, she may not have remembered you. But you know where she is now, all she can ever think about is you. Think of it as a good thing then, an end to her suffering, a beginning of something new. For both you and her. That strong lady took it better than any man could, so right now- just be proud of that. We in turn are proud of you. Carry on then, a different approach to life since you know you can't avoid the impact of this loss. But know that there is always hope for the best at the end of the day.
