On the Lighter Side of their Past...



Metallica's new album. Sorry for being a little outdated on this one. But I found that my sister downloaded their stuff. I'm VERY let down by my expectations. I mean.. They're DEFINITELY better than St Anger or Frantic... They said they've gone back to their old self? They CAN'T do that without Burton!!! Their new music is so POSER and WANNABE. But they WERE the EPITOME of 80's rock! They don't have to WANT.

In their most famous song The Day That Never Comes (What a gay name) the settings are so yerrfying. The whole thing is so... sharp. The distortion is sad. The drums... Is Lars Ulrich la. Stupid fella. xD The bassist is okay. But the vocalist? Got MUCH better.

Cyanide- their other song. Is a LOOOOT better. You can tell they're still trying because of the sudden speed ups. But the guitar solo is a redeemer. Again, nothing to compare to any of their Ride the Lightning stuff. But I guess they've broken free of the GAYness la. (The lyrics are still gay though xD)

Trashed- MUCH better. :) Singing sucks. But everything else? Great work! :) The settings are kow enough already. xD A little repetitive but still good. Metallica is back. :)
